Kyle is a second year Counselling Psychology student at the University of Worcester. After undertaking Psychology with business modules in his first year, he has decided to undertake another business module this year and has a passion for psychology and business, and sustainability is important in both of these subjects. He hopes to link his excellent organisational, practical and creative skills that these subjects entail, with the working on sustainability projects within the University. In his work, he hopes to implement sustainability into his own business which he has been running for one and a half years. He desires to contribute for positive change, providing a strong voice for the sustainability issues in and around the University of Worcester.
On Thursday the 14th of July 2016, the University of Worcester hosted the Midlands Sustainability Network for Further and Higher Education Institutions event. Around fifty individuals attended the event, not just from education institutes but from businesses and local authorities, to begin the process of engagement, collaboration and sharing ideas. The event was hosted at the University of Worcester, who also Chair the Network, and there was a wide range of speakers on hand to provide their expertise, insights and, above all, show their passion for the sector and sustainability. Universities that attended include the University of Worcester, Birmingham City University, and the University of Bristol.
