The university has recently installed an automatic metering system allowing us to monitor real time energy consumption across the estate. Our Green Impact project is taking full advantage of the software and launching our own university Energy League. Each month buildings will be ranked by their percentage change in electricity consumption from the previous month. Green Impact teams will receive points each month for their buildings performance in the monthly energy league. Monthly points tally into a season league table where Green Impact teams are ranked. Teams can get additional points for awareness raising initiatives as well. We will be publishing the results from the Energy League here on susthingsout in future editions.
